PrimeNote - Account Deletion Request
This page explains how you can request the deletion of your PrimeNote account and the data associated with it. PrimeNote is developed and operated by YUANJIE Co., Ltd.
How to Request Account Deletion
You can request the deletion of your account using one of the following methods:
Method 1: In-App Deletion
- Open the PrimeNote app on your device
- Go to Settings (tap the profile icon)
- Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision when prompted
- Your account and data will be scheduled for deletion
Method 2: Email Request
- Send an email to support@primenote.app
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your account
- We will process your request within 7 business days
- You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete
Data That Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently deleted:
- Account Information: Your email address, name, and profile data
- User Content: All notes, recordings, uploaded files, and AI-generated content (summaries, flashcards, quizzes, podcasts, mind maps)
- Learning Progress: Flashcard progress, quiz scores, and spaced repetition data
- Usage Data: App usage statistics and preferences
- Shared Content: All shared links will be deactivated
- Subscription Data: Purchase history and subscription status (note: refunds are handled by Apple/Google)
Data That May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained for a limited period due to legal, security, or operational requirements:
- Transaction Records: Payment and subscription records may be retained for up to 3 years for tax and legal compliance purposes
- Security Logs: Anonymous security and fraud prevention logs may be retained for up to 90 days
- Aggregated Analytics: Non-personally identifiable, aggregated usage statistics may be retained indefinitely for service improvement
Important Notes
⚠️ Irreversible Action: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will lose access to all your notes, learning materials, and any remaining subscription benefits.
- Active Subscriptions: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel active subscriptions. Please cancel your subscription through the App Store or Google Play before requesting account deletion to avoid future charges.
- Processing Time: Account deletion requests are typically processed within 7 business days. In some cases, it may take up to 30 days to complete the deletion process.
- Data Backup: If you want to keep your notes, please export them before deleting your account. You can export notes as PDF, Markdown, or audio files from the app.
